Background and Challenges
The local climate in Nigeria is hot and rainy, with unstable power supply. The client aimed to build a modern “gas station”that meets high traffic fueling demands, showcases brand strength, and reduces operational costs. To meet this demand, we provided a turnkey service from design and manufacturing to installation.
Core Construction: BIPV Solar Canopy and Structure
For this project, we custom-designed a high-specification “gas station canopy”. The main structure uses high-quality stainless steel and aluminum, ensuring corrosion resistance and weather resistance in high-temperature and high-humidity environments. Notably, we integrated advanced BIPV modules onto the canopy. This “solar canopy” not only powers the “fuel dispenser” and “gas station equipment” but also feeds surplus energy into the grid, extending the facility’s lifespan from 5-10 years to 25 years and truly helping the gas station achieve “carbon neutrality.”
Brand Identity and Supporting Upgrades
To enhance brand recognition, we equipped the project with eye-catching “illuminated petrol station pylon sign” and “gas station price signs”, using high-brightness LED light sources that are clearly visible even in heavy rain. Meanwhile, our services extended to the “gas station convenience store”, providing a full set of “gas station accessories” such as shelving and cashier counters, effectively improving the client’s ROI.
